The Austrian painter and graphic artist Josef Stoitzner passed many years of teaching at the local art scene, amongst others at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. In his own artistic work he excelled in atmospheric landscape paintings and still lifes, in his graphic work he specialized in color woodcuts and lithographs. The quality of his work is highly appreciated by art collectors.
